just make sure you dont have him lay flat all the time, turn his head, equally. both sides

he has a flat head? on one side or both? if on one side, then EVERY TIME you change the diaper turn his head side to side, then ear to shoulder for both sides. all the way.u wont hurt him.he wont like it at first but he will get better. more tummy. if you do this 99 percent of time by next appt u wont need that helmet.

My daughter got the same thing when she was only like 2 weeks from turning her head to the same side all the time. The doc told me to turn her to the opposite side and prop her with a rolled towel. Just do whatever you can to take the pressure off the flat spot for a while and it'll go back to normal.

maybe try more tummy time or lay him on his sides. my first born had a flat head too but it went away on its own after she started sitting up more.
