Little man will be 3 weeks old on Monday. Last Thursday the doctor switched his formula to enfamil gentlease. He has still been gassy and fussy and his diaper rash will not go away. Monday the doctor called in a prescription for anti fungal cream in case it is a yeast infection. It still has not gone away. Any suggestions? Is there another formula I should try? Should I switch him to soy? My oldest ended up on soy. He is 8 now. Also does matter that I don't drink milk so when I was pregnant he never got milk either. Thanks.

We switched to gentlease and it worked wonders for my son.

@landonsmommy01, he has been in it for almost a week and I do t really see a difference. How long did it take for you to notice?

It took about 2 1/2 weeks for us. But my sons doctor recommended for us to put a small amount of prune juice in the gentlease and it helped. He was on similac in the NICU and it made him very constiapted.

My sons 3 weeks old Friday and he was on those enfamil pre made bottles till I could pump enough , then I got home and he was on breast milk , then just two days ago I decided pumping isn't for me and started giving him the powder enfamil newborn formula but WIC gives me Similac so doctor told me to throw out the enfamil and switch straight to Similac I guess so he can get used to it . But he hasn't been going poop much either since giving him formula , she said it's because they can't digest formula as easily as they can breast milk, and that he's not constipated because when he does go it would be solid .

She said its normal for them not to go as often even if it's once a day as long as it's not solid he's fine. Sorry that was so long.
