We had her in a swing next to our bed. She's four months and we just now moved her into her room, but she still sleeps in her swing bc I'm not comfortable putting her in her crib until she can easily roll both ways. We started with putting her in her room just for naps during the day, and then gradually moved it to overnight as well. My daughter is a light sleeper so everyone sleeps better now

We had her in a rock and play until she outgrew it at around 3 months. She still uses it on occasion but she's very long, 97th percentile for height, so she doesn't have a lot of wiggle room in it.

We're doing the pack n play bassinet till she's at least over 3 months. Her pediatrician said to put her in her crib... I was like, mmm no not comfortable with that at all. We have a rock n play too, she naps in that during the day. First week or so she slept in it all the time because I slept on the couch next to it lol, I was super paranoid with every sound/movement she made.

Gotcha. Thanks for your input, I have a rock and sleeper, bouncer, swing, and play pin as my options of sleep for him. I guess I'll play it by ear once he get here to see what he like lol. @scurlock.mommy

I have a bassinet that he'll sleep in for the first 2 months for my convenience. Then we will move him to the crib. I'd like to start him in his crib a couple weeks before I go back to work.

With our son he slept in a little rocker by our bed until 4 moths he outgrew it really quick he was super tall for his age. He then slept with us in the bed till around 6 moths then we moved him to his crib. He does really well in it and sleeps threw the night. With his sister she is a week old and I wanted to try to put her in the crib early didn't work the first night I couldn't sleep. So I put her in a little rocker next to our bed. But she has acid reflux issues and she has just been sleeping with me in bed. I feel more comfortable that way.

I had the baby in his own room on day one. I just had a rocking chair. I would feed him and go back to bed. he stayed in his crib

some say its best for baby to sleep in the same room with you until 6 months old. personally, my daughter is 8 months but still sleeps in the room with us because she still doesnt sleep through the night. my friend has a 9 month old and she has had the baby sleeping in her own room since 3 months. its all on what makes it easist for you. once my daughter starts sleeping through the night she will be going in her own room.

my LO sleeps in her own room and has since we moved a month ago. where she sleeps depends on how she falls asleep or what she thinks is more comfy. She always sleeps in her rock and sleep thing you mentioned or her crib
