How old was your little one when you put them in a toddler bed? I will have a 13 month old and a newborn, so I didn't know if I should buy a second crib or if my son would soon be going to a toddler bed?

I would say if you plan on buying another crib get one that converts to a toddler bed so you won't spend as much since the oldest would be transitioning soon either way.

It really is up to you. I have always bought the 4 in 1 cribs that change into a toddler bed so we just convert but different ages for my little ones I have waited as long as 3 years, 2 years and my 2 year old now is still in his crib. It is when they start to climb out I switch to toddler.

We have a convertible one. When she was two, we took the front part out but out a little rail on, so she won't fall out. We took it down after a while and around 3 1/2 she got a loft bed and her brother sleeps now in her old crib
