Not sure if I'm making the right decision about giving my newborn a pacifier. She seems to depend on it, like if it falls out of her mouth she will cry until I put it back.. which can be frustrating considering she's not good at holding it in yet 🤔

You do what you feel is right and comfortable for your baby and you. 😊 If it's what works and helps both of you stay at peace, you shouldn't over think it. And agree with above comment.

What kind are you using? A lactation consultant told me the soothies are best because the nipple of the paci is shaped more like a breast nipple. If you aren't breastfeeding I'm not sure if that is important though.

@babybue16, i have a few different brands but the only one she will take is the newborn nuk silicone one, and of course it's green 😂

My doctor said it is fine and much better than if the baby will start to suck on thumb or fingers.
