Do any of you lack family support? Neither if my brothers have a babysitter bc my mom always watched their kids. After having my son (8mo now) she's come over maybe twice and both times told me to hire help! I don't expect anything from her I'm just surprised at the difference in treatment btw my baby and my two brothers kids. When I ask her if we can hang out she's always busy watching the other kids which are 9, 6 and 4. Doesn't seem fair and I don't feel supported. How wud u handle this situation?

Sit down with her 1v1 and tell her how you're feeling. Not saying she'll change or even acknowledge her behavior, but at least she'll know you feel you've been treated unfairly. To be fair to her, she's probably getting on in age, already raised her kids and sounds like your brothers' kids as well. She's allowed to be tired or to say she has too much on her plate already. You're entitled to your feelings, but you should take hers into account as well. Good luck! @xavymommy
