Yes they also live in grass, we had them bad when I was a kid and we didn't even have pets

The people prior before had Pets most Likely! Just vacuume your floors atleast every other day, and wash your blankets

@jeremiah27, I hadn't seen any and we've been here 3 months. The woman across the hall just moved in about a month ago and just got a yappy ass little dog about 2 weeks ago. The hall way is carpeted can they be getting to us like that?

Maybe your just noticing them now? Flees are weird like that, they probably cleaned the carpets but the eggs are now fully hatched and ready to make more, the flea life cycle, but the best way is just to keep vacuuming to keep it under control!

Let your landlord know that way he/she'll pay to get rid of them or talk to that lady

And get that powder to run on the carpets it kills them

Yes u can get them they live on anything u need pest control asap even vacuum and soap won't kill eggs and they will keep reproducing and will become a nightmare I would demand pest control if ur renting if not I would go to Home Depot or someplace like homedept and buy a indoor fogger for every room in ur home large rooms but 2 before u use them I would put away anything really valuable like small electronics jewelry delicate clothing or anything that is spot clean only then I would pack a lunch and dinner and plan to be gone all day long like 12hr at least u set the cans off and run they spray a mist all in the air and it slightly falls all over everything it's not that bad like it won't ruin furniture or anything but I sure wouldn't leave much out to chance it. Maybe even do the carpet area u share with neighbor my family had rental property's as a kid and they had this issue several times so they just started using fogger with every single make ready move in it insure a clean place for the next person

@txyogagirl, thank you I will talk to the landlord first because I believe it says in our lease we have to justify them before doing any bombing.

They will never know u did it the smell subsides within 24 hr
