I believe I'm leaking fluid... How can you differentiate b/t that, and urine?

L & D has these strips that change color with amniotic fluid they use to tell. I would go in if you think you are, just to be sure.

Amniotic fluid has a sweet smell doesn't smell like urine

It didn't smell like urine.. It had a different smell @lae1988

I would go get checked I went in to get checked at 37 weeks and was 4 centimeters dilated wasn't leaking any amniotic fluid but they kept me since I was that dilated @rocd

Oh wow. Was you having contraction or was you symptoms free? @lae1988

If its constant leaking

I was having a lot of pressure my contractions didn't start picking up until the nurse checked me a second time and then she noticed I was having some pretty good ones so if they would have sent me home I would have ended up having my daughter prob by the end of the night or the next day was glad they kept me lol @rocd

That's good. I'm having continuous pressure but no contractions. I have them irregularly. @Lae1988
