did any one feel like between your community midwives and the hospital that there is no communication? at my last hospital appointment i asked them if i needed to make an appointment for anything. they told me no my midwife would arrange anything. spoke to my midwife when should i book for the glucose test and she had no idea she was to do it.
ive got my midwife today 27wk. is there anything she should do?

No your maternity notes are for when you go into Labour it's just to note down if there's been any problems during the pregnancy or if it's been plain sailing. Yeah midwives are just for check ups if you're having an easy pregnancy

midwives don't have to book anything things like your whopping cough jab and flu jab you book yourself. the glucose test if your gp or midwife has suggested you need one the midwife doesn't book until you say you want to have it as you don't have too have it it's just advised if there's concerns, so unless you've said yes to being tested your midwife won't book it. that's how it works with my gp surgery xx
