I just got the news that my sister will not be attending my baby shower. This is her first niece/nephew and I am her only sister. I told her 6 months in advance the date of the shower and asked her to take it off. She said "I will just wait and see if they decide to give it to me off", evidentially, she did not get it off. Sometimes I wonder how I could be related to someone so selfish.

if she have gave it in advance most likely she would have gotten it off most jobs understand that

if it makes you feel any better my sister and dad had the day off and they both chose not to show either. told them the date in July had my babyshower end of October, im so sorry i know how sad you feel

I honestly don't get it either, i make it a point to go to any event / thing they throw or are apart of. even if i dont feel up to it. cause I know it's important to them. frist grand baby and niece/nephew that im carrying too @shylamarie
