I've had the nexplanon for 3 months and it's been great so far besides have my period every other week while my body adjusts to it... I didn't wanna get an iud because it can cause infertility and I didn't wanna risk it lol

You have no periods , and I never gained weight. I had a friend who got pregnant on the Mirena that's why I didn't get that. But I hope it works for you hun! :)

Dont read stuff online, people only post bad stuff and it is so few and far between. This is my 2nd Mirena and I love it!

@jacesterlingsmommy, @klp16 I tried to get it but I have to heal up some more. It was hurting me so I had to stop. I went with the pills for now

@landonsmommy01, I didn't gain weight with the shot either I lost weight! But I bled continuously for the 3 months I had it and it made me hormonal and it's harder to get pregnant after you stop

Don't get mirena!!! There are so many lawsuits against it, so many horror stories and from first hand experience , I wouldn't tell my worst enemy to get it, it was absolutely horrible . It made me have seizures, hair loss, severe headaches, nausea all day long, horrible cramps, painful sex, passing out / dizzy spells.. Ever since I got it out I haven't had one bad side affect ,

Yeah the first one I got was uncomfortable and made me contract but I took ibuprofen the second time and didn't feel a thing. There's side effects to everything so what works for one may not work for another and vice versa.

I currently use depo, I haven't had my period in 4 months

How about nuvaring?
