Levi's doctor says she thinks he might be failing to thrive because he hasn't grown any from his…

Don't worry too much luv......my cousin's baby was just born last week at 37 weeks via planned C section....they told her the same thing at about 25/30 weeks or so. Her son just wasn't growing as quickly as he should......he was 4lbs when he was born and healthy! Just tiny! He's in the NICU because he's little and isn't eating enough...but other than that, he'll hopefully be going home soon!!

did they show you on the percentile chart or what? can you get a log? maybe try another doctor?

She showed me his growth chart and he's lost weight since his 6 month check up and only grew .25 inches. I don't think he's small for his age, though. He's 18lbs 2oz and 9 months old. @ssdj4

he weighs more than my 15 month old. but if he has lost weight then that is cause for concern. if they don't gain a lot of weight or stay the same it's fine but losing the weight is never a good thing. @raehow

What do they say to do about it? Mine will be 6 mos on the 28th, she weighs 16 lbs

She didn't say do anything. She just wants to see some growth next time or he needs to see an endocrinologist. @bianca_rose

He's not under weight or anything he's perfectly fine at this weight but he shouldn't be losing it
