As a single mother, what would I have to do to get full custody of my daughter?

you have full custody as soon as she is born just leave the dad of the birth certificate

Exactly wat ashley07 said if he Dosent sign the birth certificate u have full custody I wouldn't go for child support unless u want to share the child at some point in time so I would say just move on and done acknowledge him at all

No you can give her any last night my SO isn't on our first daughters birth certificate but she has his last name

U can give any last name but if u don't want him to be involved I wouldn't give her his last name, or just use both

When I was a single mom to my boys I gave the boys his last name and when it came down to going to court it was easier for him to say well they have my last name I want visitation and the judge asked no questions about where he's been wat he's been doing if he's gna be a good parent etc and gave supervised until they were big Enough to go to his place, that's where I messed up plus now he's not around for them and hasn't. Been and I hate when I have to answer question to my oldest cuz he gets sad, it's just a lot

No problem, I like how things turned out my boys are great and my husband is there for them, I feel bad for his ex cuz she had twins by him before he ended up in prison and now she sees that I wasn't lien when I told her he was no good piece of 💩 lol

Yes keep him off BC and give your baby your last name. Also if you travel across state lines or abroad there may be problems if baby's last name is different than yours
