I've had one on my son for 3 months now. I don't know how much it really helps but he looks cute. The beads are small and it's not long enough for him to be able to get it in his mouth. He doesn't even know it's there. The beads are knotted individually so even if it does break only one will come off.

I've heard they are a choking hazard. I never had the guts to try it. I don't like things around his neck or small beads in his mouth for obvious reasons.
