My SO's family wants to throw me a baby shower , but I'm not really comfortable with it. I know most of my family will be there nor my friends because of distance .. I don't want to be rude , but I really don't want one. Any advice on how to tell them?

say you greatly appreciate the thought, but you don't feel comfortable with it being so far away from your side of the family and friends, if you wouldn't mind maybe compromising so everyone can be apart of this special event

Girl just let them throw you one! I felt the same way and then my SOs family threw me one and it was great! Plus we got ALOT of the things we needed. 💕
