🙄🙄🙄🙄😒😒😒😒 that's very rude. And that's not anything someone else, let alone your doctor, should be worried about anyways. His job is to make sure you're healthy and recovering well after birth, not check who the father is. I always hate he rude questions and stares people give, but mine were "are you the sitter?" Smh. Genetics are a crazy thing and that's what's so cool about them, we can guess and guess what our babies will look like as who they'll take after, but we never truly know until they're here. Just because one parent is black, doesn't mean the baby will come out very dark. Not to mention, there are two parents anyways... Baby can take after mom, dad, grandma, etc. My daughter looks more like my sister than she does me or her father. He's beyond unprofessional.

Please go to the head of your doctors office and file a complaint. that is very unprofessional of him... im sorry you had to deal with that

The fact that ur dr said between me and u is beyond me. Dr should know about hippa rights so obviously everything y'all talk about should be confidential on another note I believe there would be a more appropriate way to ask the question such as let's go over the baby's fathers medical history? That should be the only reason he is concerned about who the father is. Or he could ask how many partners have u been sexual active with. But to boldly say that ur baby is very white and ur BF is not is just unprofessional. Your son is very fair but he's adorable and I do see his daddy's features in him same nose clef and chin. Also for ur birth story well to put it to u honestly they screwed u. That's such bad customer service the patient should always be cared for by ur wishes but I will say u had to sign off on all those meds they gave u and there is only one way to ensure u don't get them and that's to not sign. I refused my signature on everything except the need for blood transfusion and open iv port. The meds r the problem. God intended for the women's body to labor naturally and slowly and it's just not in the hospitals best interest to let that happen bc one thing $=time sad but true. Also as for not being loud well they may have been saying that bc the breathing techniques technically u do put more pressure when u hold the breath during the out push but again thats not ur fault it was ur first they can't expect u to know that. That's ur nurses job to help u focus on the breathing to successfully push I hope for the future u can learn more about the meds and the causes and strains they put on ur body and successfully have regular deliveries in the future and with a different dr. I hope I didn't sound mean in any of this I didn't mean to be I was just truly honest but u sound like u have the perfect little family now and that's all that matters

I don't see the problem In them asking. its important for them to have all the information especially when it comes to genetics. Some problems only accrue in certain groups of people. My baby looks just like her dad. but I was also asked if he was the father. They could of asked in a more respectful manner.

That was very rude and if I was in your situation I would file a complaint!! My four children 👪🤓🤓🤓 are all biracial and people often ask my husband 💏 of 12 years and counting. If they are all his children. Because two of our children came out favoring more of me and two of our children came out favoriting him. It's ridiculous when a health professional said this. I would file a complaint, that was totally not professional at all. Here is a picture of me and my husband and our four children . As you see our oldest takes after me and our second youngest takes after me. Our second son takes after him and our last son takes after him. But they all have their Father's DNA in them. I am sorry 😢 you had to experience that , but NOTE that wasn't professional at all. I hope you file a complaint.
