Not necessarily. Children's hair can change so much, especially mixed babies hair, from the time they're born to about 2-3. My daughters hair went from being very black and straight to light brown/blonde in some areas and very curly. I'm sure it isn't completely done changing either.

So definitely give him some time, especially if you're talking about he give month old? My daughters hair was still straight then lol.

my daughter's dad is black and I'm white so she's half and half and doesn't have a fro really at all. this is her now. it's soft spiral curls basically. my daughter was literally bald at 5 months old lol. I thought she'd have a fro too but her texture in her hair is a lot different then I imagined it was going to be.

My daughter is mixed and when she was Lil she had soft silky straight hair it never started to curl until she was about a yr old and she still don't have the full black hair like most mixed kids. It's a Lil dryer now that she's older but she still don't have to use all the chemicals in her hair that most would use. I feel she got more of like the Indian hair then anything but she does have quite a bit of it in her too.
