i went with my daughter and the drink is like thick sick 😷 dont think i could go through it again made me feel so ill 😭xx

i know it isnt that bad but when youre having nightmares and you already know how gross it is.. dont know if i can do it xx

u shud go....just in case x 3 sets of blood tests and they gave me a bottle of lucozade (375 mls ) i think÷) was thirsty so it didnt bother me lol

bloods dont bother me and they dont give you lucozade in my area its like thick sick @nherthom

Tell them how u feel and they might be able to give u something diff to drink hun, i had a diff glucose drink this time to the time before xx

@jessicahorn, awww i thought its lucozade for all...anyway, i was dx with GD and on Metformin 2x/day now and still monitoring my Blood sugar 4x/day coz the babys weight was fluctuating quite quick but its started to tail off now...😘

i have asked them and they said there is nothing they can do o didnt have it with olive and my pregnancy is so much better than last time xx

@jessicahorn, bring your own lucozade÷) and say take it or leave it lol btw,wat is the reason why u need to be tested for GD? x

It's better to get tested just incase. You can go into premature labour if you have GD & it's not checked. I had the GD it wasn't pleasant but soon as I gave birth it went away. It's lucazade here to drink to thought it was the same everywhere else?!

No because thats irriespobsible. Would you rather chance having diabetes & it not being treated which would cause harm to yourself & your baby? It's a drink. It's disgusting, I hated doing it twice. But it's over then it's done & you can be at peace of mind. When you become a parent you always put your babies needs before your own.

I love lucozade but o my talk about flat, its so u can drink it quick i fink and the 2 hour wait is agonising

I took a film 2 hours went really quick x i would take my own lucazade too and see if they will let you use that I think it has to be the original one x

@sara-lou, i already have a daughter so i do know 😑 @mrsnelly2013 they dont do the lucozade drink here @nherthom i have to have it as my dad has type 2.. @blue243 they dont let you have anything else as i asked last time with my daughter.. otherwise i would drink lucozade even though i hate it c

Well then you should know they test for a reason. There's no question you should do it.
