I bought more witch hazel pads & the pain relieving spray. I brought a can from the hospital & a thing of the witch hazel pads but ended up buying another can of the spray & 2 more things of the witch hazel pads.

My sister bought depends to wear at night so she wouldn't worry about the pad moving at night. It doesn't sound glamorous but who said giving birth was meant to be glamorous.

witch hazel was the greatest for me. lots of pads or depends. I didn't use the numbing spray with any delivery. I didn't like the idea of my hoo-ha being numb even slightly. a bottle to squirt water down there. what I had done was washed a plastic water bottle and poked three small holes in the top it had the best flow for cleaning and without hurting.

I got the cool pads and a squirt bottle from the hospital. I only used it for 2-3 days after I got home.
