Ladies with the perfect prep machine, of you are off put for the afternoon what do you do about bottles, as they only have 2 hours on them before discarding? Do you take a carton and a sterile bottle in the bottle holder or a ore serialised bottle? Years ago I made them up night before and put in fridge then just took out to use and warm during day? Any tips ?

@mummy1984, yeah I'll have to get some, so you just take a few sterile bottles out with you and put cartons in as and when? I have a few ore serialised bottles left from hospital today so I'll use one of them I think x

@mummy1984, surely there's a way without buying extra cartons etc, I'm sure they make these new rules and ways to get more money out of us!!

@hawkie75, I agree back in the day you made the bottles up the night before for the next day but now it's all different you have a time window to use a bottle xx

I pre-make my bottles. Always have done. Impossible to make fresh bottles when your out for the day. I have bought the pre-made bottles when we've gone away for the night & for emergencies there's always some in the house.

I boil the water & pour into bottles & take them with me. I pour the formula in when Max needs a bottle. If I do use the store bought ones I'll just pour into a sterilised bottle yeh.

@sara-lou, great in future I'll just make the bottle from the prep machine minus the formula yeah? And take it out with me to pop in and shake up. Or boiled water like you say x
