Ive created a monster 😲. My son will literally not sleep in his bed or bassinet ever. He wants to be on daddy or my chest whenever hes asleep. I feel so bad cuz hes so small and not even a week old 😣 I tried letting him cry it out for like 10 minutes but i ended up crying with him 😢 Any advice on how to get him to sleep on his own?

@2ndchancemommy, try putting a shirt that you or your husband has worn on the crib or bassinet. All he needs is your scent. It worked for my son at that age. Give it a try.

Do it little by little. Put him in there for longer each time and let him cry it out alittle. Then stick to it

If your breastfeeding you can use your dirty shirt as the mattress sheet my son would scream bloody murder the first month he would refuse to sleep anywhere but my chest, you can algo buy a cosleeper
