It could be prodromal labor in your back, that's what I had.. started around 38.5 wks. Had her at 40. It started off slower and more inconsistent but by the day I got admitted I couldn't even talk. That's where my pain was
@bria, I can't tell if thats exactly what I'm experiencing . Sometimes it feels like a pulsing pain and then it's gone . Then all day long it hurts where my kidneys are if I breathe in deep . I of course did some looking on Google and I was seeing back labor , kidney stones , and kidney infection pop up a lot . I've had kidney stones before and it doesn't feel like this is that . I have a doctor's appointment in the morning , was just hoping to get a better understanding of what might be going on ..
The worst back pain of your life that will come in waves because they are contractions, it will hurt to stand, sit, breathe lol. Back labor can be irregular throughout (happened to me I had all back contractions) suffered at 3cm for 5 days before I dilated enough to get admitted.... and they were still irregular !! If you are experiencing it, go get checked. Because the nurses at my hospital told me back labor can stay irregular like mine did (I mean that I would go for hours with them coming every 3-4 mins, and then every 7-10, back to 3-4, it was horrible !!)
