Got my car all fixed up, minus the windshield. Yay, right? Wrong. Found out my head gasket is almost shot and it'll be a minimum of around $3200 to fix. That explains why my car continues to overheat. Add to it? Someone shot a bb pellet through our front window, right into our living room where it landed a few feet to the right of my daughter. Went through both panes of glass and the plastic covering over those. Sounded like a rock at first so we rushed outside in time to see a female hop into her car, glare our way, flip us off, and yell "Fuck you!" before speeding off down the road. Called the cops and they said it was the 6th report today. A few days ago it was car burglarizing. Starting to hate this fucking town and their bullshit...not only do I have to worry about my property, but I get to worry about mine and my daughters safety around people who apparently dislike us.

Sorry you're going through all that right now. Who the F does that? Super rude. As far as your car issue, try not to let it overheat because that can really mess up your engine. If it starts overheating turn on the heater and pull over before it gets 3/4 hot on the gauge. I don't know what kind of car you have but my Subaru HG job was 2500 but I can tell you every part they replaced. You could call around to other shops and see if you can get quotes or ask about payment plans.

@kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom, I have a 2000 Cadillac DeVille DHS. Its considered a luxury model and every part is expensive AF to fix T.T I've had to have the heater on full blast all summer to keep it from overheating. Been the only thing that's worked.
