So here's something to think about and please comment I need advice because s%%% is about to hit the fan. I'm a manager at a local fast food joint I love it there. Customers Great, workers awesome pay reasonable. what more could you ask for. So last week on Wednesday I looked at one of my coworkers on my shift and she has lice the size of your pinky nail. this is no joke! I sent her home I told her not to come back until she got rid of it with a doctor's note.
but that's not the half of it the general manager decides to let her keep working when I'm not there. but if I'm there she tells me to send her home. These bugs and her head are so bad that if you were to flick her hat they will fall off
no I don't believe my paycheck should have to suffer being I'm fixing to have my baby and I'll be gone anyway. but I was thinking this morning to go to my job and tell my general manager it's either me or this girl because I do not want to catch it. I hate to put my general manager in a predicament like that but if we're sharing headsets and she's there when I'm not there how's it going to help stop the lice??
I'm beyond disgusted at this point because I'm the only one trying to make sure that nobody else gets it myself included. so should I just quit and walk out and be done with it or talk to the boss lady and tell her to look here is your two options it's either me or her.

Id definitely make the General manager choose between you and the other girl. She is already going against what your saying by letting her work when you are not there. That is disgusting. She shouldnt be there like that If you can see it that easily then Im sure customers could too. @momma2017

He should not be allowing her to work... that is violating so many health codes. So if he won't send her home to take care of it... you need to go to someone higher or something. You shouldn't have to lose your job because he's neglectful and allowing that disgustingness to be handled.

I have been so tempted to call OSHA or the health department give them all of our information not show up to work and see what happens then. and the bad thing is is this general manager lets her work on my shift why my shift why do I have to be around it being pregnant.

as I don't think there's much that you can do or take if your pregnant and you need to get rid of it I'm fixing to have my son and the last thing I want to do is trying to enjoy the birth of my child when I'm scratching and there's bugs falling out of my damn hair

food and lice = disgusting. for all employees and customers who go there.tell that chic to get rid of her lice and yes tell your supervisor asap

thats a health hazard. I would try to talk to your boss about it if not talk to hr. because that is safely and could be someone job if yall got a food audit

that's just it ladies, I've told my gm (general manager) about this and she like give her the next two days off to take care of it with a doctor's note. wth is a doctors note going to do?? This is beyond the point of treatment. She needs to leave and shave her head as well as treat her skull.
it def is a health hazard and I've got 5 people that I live with kids included and I'm screwed if they get it.

that's why today I think the best thing for me to do is tell the boss lady it's me or her. If I have to leave I'm down with that..she will never hear from me again. I promise you that.
