Ladies, I have a question! Please someone get back to me. Well, I have yet to inform my employer that I am pregnant. I want to wait until the end of this month. I work with kids and adults with disabilities. Some of the clients I work with are aggressive, but nothing I can't handle. My question is can I get in trouble for not informing my employer about my pregnancy? One of the clients I work with lives in a group home and the manager wants to report me to regional center. I have no idea why. 😑

You can't get in trouble for being pregnant and working. They can't write you up or fire you for it, it's illegal. Only reason you should tell them is if the job is harmful to you and baby, too much for you, or to talk about maternity leave so they can get a temporary replacement while your having the baby.

yeah it might just be for legal reasons so that youre all protected.
