Okay ladies, I'm not sure if I need a reality check or if I should hold out hope. What do y'all think?

So on Monday when ever I wiped I got some pink discharge. I couldn't get ahold of my doc office so I went to the ER. They did an ultrasound and only saw a gestational sac (I should have been 6 weeks) no yolk sac or fetal pole was seen. My HCG was 1881. They said my cervix was closed and everything looked perfect except for not seeing a yolk sac or fetal pole. However, they said it could just be a little too early. The next day I went to my OB and got another ultrasound. Same thing. Everything looks perfect and the ultrasound tech was sure that I'd just ovulated later than I thought. There was no sign of miscarriage and my cervix was closed. The gestational sac had grown from my ultrasound at 5 weeks. The doctor however was extremely negative saying that my chances of a viable pregnancy was slim to none. I have another ultrasound next week to check for any growth. When I got home after the doctors and ultrasound, I started cramping and bleeding heavily and passing clots. It only lasted about 5 hours and now the bleeding has stopped. The doc won't see me again saying that I need to wait until my appointment next week. Understandable, but I just don't know what to think. I'm holding out hope that the ultrasound knocked something loose in there and that's what the blood and clots were but the rationale part of me is saying that I should prepare myself for bad news :( any input?

at 5 weeks you see a sac. 6 weeks and up you should see a baby. just stay calm and relax.

if you're cramping, bleeding red and passing clots, it sounds like a miscarriage (I've had one 😞) but wait to see what your dr says
