The ultrasound tech was a lot more optimistic at my appointment today because everything looks fine minus the lack of a yolk sac or fetal pole. No sign of a miscarriage. She was sure that I just had my dates mixed up and ovulated later than I thought. The doctor was less optimistic. I have another ultrasound next week to see if there's any change. Until then I'm on bed rest and trying my best to stay optimistic.
