thank you! and also what about those mommies that wish they could breast feed but cant because thier baby has a physical defect that is out of their control. like my baby will 😔 its been so hard for me to accept that i wont be able to breast feed and whenever i see the breast is best posts it truly upsets me, because i feel like I'll be depriving my baby from something. yes fed is best!

exactly! thank you!!! my daughter is fed formula bc I just couldn't produce enough breast milk for her.. even my doctor said the same thing. she was 5 lbs 1 oz at birth, now almost 11 lbs at 4 months.. so she's more than doubled her weight. I don't think it's bad that I'm giving her formula... I'm just glad she's gaining weight and that she's happy!!!

I don't think it's a put down.. it's a FACT(medically proven) that "breastmilk" is the best option that doesn't mean that formula is bad. coming from a non-biased view seeing as though Im a ftm and have no clue if I'll be able to

I agree that breast feeding is best but if you can do it you can't and then you do what is next best. all that matter is you feed your baby. I want to breastfeed but may not be able to. so I have plan b ready if I can't breast feed.nothing wrong with either one.

I personally don't think it matters, I think as long as you're feeding your baby then you're good. your baby need food @baby26

@woahmama, I'll try once baby gets here, nurse says if i want to keep/get a supply it will have to be every 2 hours includes during the night, so after bottle feeds and baby goes down id have to attempt to pump.

oh okay you got this mom! don't get discourage there are many benefits in your milk if you have a supply by any means necessary even if Its extra work give it to your LO. i was not breast feed my mom regrets it. I got sick soo easily even eith vaccinations. my little brothers immune system is so solid he was breast feed. 👍@wethreepeas also breast milk helps with diaper rashes and many other things and its a remedy for you so even if you pump store it for you aswell.
