my daughter will be 2 in January.. so she is 21 months I guess. but she is in her crib from 12ish until 3 no matter if she is sleeping or not. She usually will sleep for 2-2.5 hours or so.
I have a little girl in my daycare who arrives at 7:30 am so she must be waking up at 6:30 and I put the kids down at 12:30 and she is waking up within an hour to an hour and a half...(she always used to sleep at least 2 hours). I have 3 other kids who sleep 12:30-3 and I have to wake them up at 3......why doesn't she need sleep wahhhhh
@shaunnahleigh, I always leave her until 3 and hope that she will go back to sleep....because if they aren't sleeping then it should be quiet time....but this girl is NOT quiet lol she screams and kicks the walls 🙄
I realized that I was missing my "window" to put my daughter down a few weeks ago. I was putting her to bed around 1ish and by that time she was over tired and would only sleep an hour. when I moved her nap earlier she slept longer. I guess she was over tired by then and couldn't really settle. I know it's harder to change routines in a day care but is it possible to try and put her down earlier just to see if that night be the problem? if she's up at 630 i would think she would be over tired by then. not sure if it would work, but just thought I'd let u know that for us , a little shift in our schedule and she slept for longer. 😊
Hmmmm....and I was gonna adjust nap time to make it later but maybe it needs to go earlier....problem is I have one little girl who doesn't arrive until 9;30 so I don't think she wakes up till 8:30 and that would be really early for her to go down at noon....and I really want to try to keep them on the same schedule so that I get a couple hours of quiet time! I'll start looking at making some adjustments and try 1 pm this week and then noon next week and see how everyone does!

Evelyn was sleeping a good 2 1/2 hours at that age!
