What Activities Can Entertain a Newborn Baby?

I talk too my daughter, read too her, play music and put some cartoons on the TV for her xx

thanks girls.. little one is only 1 week old but very alert and awake quite a bit so was wanting ideas to keep her entertained xx

Talk plenty to them and even read a book. I've been reading Harrison books from birth and although he's only now starting to show an interest it's supposed to be great for their vocabulary. Music is also good and anything with bright colours that move, even little cartoons on tv. xx

Well as a newborn both my boys slept almost bottle to bottle so other than cuddles, talking & their play mat not much really. Oh & their bouncer.
