Here is a very strong reminder to hold your babies close! My neighbor's baby died this morning from SIDS. I woke up to the sound of her sobbing hysterically. You could hear the pain in her cries, and as a fellow mother it made me cringe. It reminded me to be more patient with my son when he's crying and I've tried everything to get him to calm down. To put my phone down more often and play with him more. To not get so aggravated about the messes he makes. Because I'd rather a crying, demanding, messy baby over a lifeless one any day. I was reminded today to live each day with my son as if it was my last day with him, because honestly it just might be. There's no way to anticipate when we or our children will leave this earth. So please, hug your babies close to you. Remind them for the hundredth time today how much you love them. And cherish them, because somewhere out there lives a mother who would trade places with you any day. Appreciate your blessings.
