Birth Story! i went in on friday nov 4th to get induced due to high blood pressure. Just a day before my due date. I was not dialted at all so they insterted cervidil. It hurt like hell! obviously because of my vaginsmus 🙁 It literally took 4 nurses and a dr about 20 min just to put it in. Then they put it the catheter which also hurt so badly! Mind you, i took the epidural before any of this cuz i just couldnt handle the pain. The thing is, the epi only worked on my right side so i felt everyrhing on my right. There was this 1 dr who thought i was being extra dramatic. 😯 when in fact i was in a lot of pain. Anyway, i started to contract every 2 minutes and could feel the pain of every contraction on my right side. 😭😭 I was in tears. To make things even worse, my epidural completely wore off. I felt EVERYTHING. They came back and adjusted it but to no avail. My ob finally came in on sat 11.05.16 and saw how hard of a time i was having and removed the cervidil 12 hours later to find out i hadnt dialated a single cm. I was closed completely. My ob decided to take me to do a c section, and at that point i just wanted it over with. They prepped me for the surgery and i went in at 10:39am. 10:47am my beautiful baby boy was born! Even though everything was so painful, it all was worth when i held my baby. 😍 I definitely will not be having any more kids lol but im glad i got to have that experience.
