I cracked one of my upper back teeth (and I didn't know) and then got an infection in my tooth/gums.
The right side of my face is THROBBING, I am in soooooo much pain. I can't sleep or eat. The dentist can't give me any "good" pain meds cause I'm pregnant 😖😖😖
And I have to wait until Monday to have the damn thing pulled.
I was loving my ice.....but not worth all of this.
I can't even describe how painful this is.
Nothing works--anbesol, warm salt water, Tylenol, Tylenol with codeine, Norco, heating pad, ice pack.....NOTHING. It just throbs and throbs and throbs.....😫😫😫

I've had this happen. go to the ER they will numb it for you. after that I felt amazing!

it takes a lot of swelling down on the nerve too so that would help with your throbbing

But how long does the numb last?? Few hours I imagine? @luckygir744 not worth the cost of an ER visit 😳

@mrs.n2014, my dentist wouldn't do anything besides the antibiotics and Tylenol w/codeine prescriptions....🙄🙄🙄...I may call an urgent care though, see what they say

Damn I'm sorry that totally sucks. I've been chewing a lot of ice lately (crushed ice) but I keep telling myself to be careful because I know it's horrible for my teeth! I hope you feel better!!

@kaseylyn, crushed is prob ok!!! But if I don't want to go get some, I just eat ice from my freezer lol way too hard to be chewing on.....and I knew it too 😖

It's so hard for me not to eat it when my fridge makes crushed ice!! Even my dogs love it lol they come running when they hear it like its a damn treat dispenser or something 😂
