Baby shower in a week and only 15 things bought off the registry!

Lots of people wait til the last minute. And lots of people don't buy off the registry which is annoying. Like why do you think I have one people

some people dont buy on the registry either. they may take a look on it n see what u want and get it else where for cheaper. i had like 60 things on mines only 5 got purchase. n i got all i need and more. even a machine to wash his clothes in.

they get stuff cheaper else where. i didnt even mind it once am getting what i want. my only problem was i gor like 4 different walker @shellbell0391

that happen sometimes i got alot of gifts but nothing that i asksed for. half of them didnt even bother to check the list . what they brought did help but i still had to go out and buy quite a bit !! thats why this time im buying all my babygirl needs now and put w.e i really dont have to get at this moment on the list .@dabcw3814

@shellbell0391, damn! The people who did buy from it are my mom, my MIL and my FIL (they are divorced) and my gma. Also, lots of people who promised me specific gifts and then backed out last min

Shoot I registered at a couple places and everyone asking or was asking frantically where I was registered at and after all that, not one person got anything on my registration. NOTHING there was a lot I had to get after having my son.

I know exactly what you mean, I may have gotten only about 5 things total between all the registries I had, I purposely made registries at Walmart, target, buy buy baby, babies r us, and Amazon to make it easier on everyone who'd be coming to my shower or was invited but couldn't make it and still wanted to give me a gift so they had options and just in case any one store carried something cheaper than the others and did Amazon because I know not everyone had time to physically be in a store shopping or with it being summer when I had my shower if someone was traveling or in a different state and couldn't make it they'd be able to send their gift to me. I was definitely grateful for the gifts I got, but I got 2 bathtubs, 2 rockers, duplicates of exact items I already purchased myself before my shower, and a bunch of clothes that she can't even fit yet, and the few things I did get off the registry were the things I didn't really care if I got and put them on more so for myself to purchase later on because they weren't important. And to make it even more annoying everyone asked for all my registry info and asked what we needed and when I'd tell them all the registry info they still didn't use it, and nobody gave me gift receipts or told me where they purchased anything just in case I got duplicates so I'm stuck because I'm not going to every store in town to try to figure out where people got stuff from

Won't worry I looked at my register and it said nothing was bought but I got a. Much of stuff of my registry even 2 of some the same things. And not everyone shops on the registry. And some people like to make things like clothes, blankets etc.

@jennc100495, that's so annoying that you got duplicates! I am happy and at peace that I got the important items I needed. I guess my concern isn't really what was purchased but that people may not come 😐

I had a friend buy 12 things off my registry and I had no clue. Sometimes if ppl use what's on your list but don't scan your shower registry to register purchases, you'll be in the dark. I had 4 registries and only 4 items they informed me were purchased from them. I got a lot of great stuff though and I'm sure you will also :)
