ok so I have been being told that my doctor had no right calling cps because my son is having issues with his weight ok he was born premature and only weighed 5lbs 14oz at his one month visit he was 7lbs so how much do they want him to weigh my doctor never told me he just said he was in the 5th percentile which I was told was average for a preemie but I'm so confused and I want cps off my back so any suggestions on how I can get him to gain weight?

Your child's Dr must be off his rocker!! Your son gained like 2 pounds, and that is awesome! Don't try and make him gain more faster. CPS will see your doing the right thing and leave you alone. Find a new pediatrics practice for sure! Sorry your going threw that 😪

I would switch ASAP. My daughter was big at 8lbs. If he was a premie and weighed 7lbs at his 1 month check up that sounds about right!

7 pounds at one month for a preemie is good. you can download growth charts online just for preemies.
