I am extremely proud of this picture, even though I look a mess haha. After my daughter was born we had a hard time breastfeeding because of some complications of my pregnancy. So after trying and failing I decided to exclusively pump and give her breastmilk in a bottle. She will be 2 months tomorrow and has only tasted formula once. That alone makes me proud because pumping is hard work. But today for whatever reason I decided to try to feed her from the breast. AND SHE LATCHED! She ate a full feeding from me (I pumped after and she had almost completely drained my one breast) she has now done this 3 times in a row today! I'm so excited! #momlifephotos

That's awesome mama keep up the good work it's such an amazing feeling to know ur baby needs u and wants u a nipple just don't taste like mama that's why she latched bc she loves her mama and feels your body. I would put away the bottle all together they r only little once cherish it. My son makes the ugliest face when I try to give a bottle it makes me happy bc when he latched looks like he's in heaven it's so sweet

@txyogagirl it's such a wonderful feeling! Either way I'm happy she's been getting breast milk but feeding her myself makes my heart happy ❤️

@babybowers, well u sound like a great mom glad ur happy. Happy mama equals happy baby I would hate to give my son formula and hope I never have too
