I did medicaid online & WIC in person. My boys aren't on my BCBS, just on medicaid right now.

did u apply for wic in person? cuz when i did it online just to check if I qualify it said I made too much

I am on my husbands work insurance BCBS and have mediciad and wic also. I applied for medicaid as a secondary insurance it covers all my co pays and stuff when my son is born he will get both also ill put him on my husbands insurance but also have medicaid. Just like my oldest son. Wic goes by income I just applied. my husband makes good money also but it helps.

so is it better to have the kid on medicaid or is private better?

I'm not married either & I have BCBS through my job. My job pays well also. They gave me pregnancy medicaid & after that's up I would have to put my children's father on support to continue getting it
