hey ladies, I need advice.... its open enrollment and I already enrolled in my benefits through my job. I have bcbs... should my baby be under my insurance or medicaid? if so, would that mean medicaid would be my secondary? help!
@nadinemt1, okay so if I put him on both can it be under my insurance or does it have to be under dads insurance? Cuz my bf only has medicaid right now
we have BCBS through my husbands job and that's the insurence my son is on too.
TBH you should put him on both. Add him to your private insurance and if your from NJ go to NJFamilyCare.com and do an application for yourself. Once you get approved for Medicaid they'll send you a paper with everything you have to send in when your baby is here. That's what I did when I was pregnant. Just lie and say that you don't have another insurance.
I didn't add him yet but I need to know how to get him on medicaid or if he should be on my private insurance?
Are you asking for the baby you're pregnant with? You shouldn't add him/her til you give birth. That's considered a qualifying life event and they will let you add him

Not hating, but idc if i was a millionaire i would not but my 3 year old in a 950 anything 🤣😂
Ladies when I'm come to dentist, would my Medicaid cover or I have to have insurance?
does anybody have any idea how to switch my medicaid? I want to switch my Medicaid so badd and to what?
I wanted to ask a question regarding pregnancy Medicaid. Any rude comments will be blocked. So I called today and they said all the paper work can take 30 days to process. I counted and that would be August 30th and I'll be 17 weeks. I know the ob dont normally take women after 20 weeks. My social service building is so slow, so I have been going to the clinic one a month for checkups. I am worried I won't get an ob in time. Any advice or did anyone have trouble with the Medicaid, I dont know wh...
Did anyone else have problems getting medicaid? I cant see a doctor until I have a medicaid number but my medicaid is pending and they dont give you a number until youre accepted? They told me it can take up to 6 months to be accepted. My baby is due in 4!!
I would personally go with BCBS. Such good insurance. I had it with my last job
