my fiance told me this morning he heard two nurses talking about me at the hospital. one of them said that I said I gained 30 pounds. the other replied 30 pounds of muscle and they laughed.
seriously ladies why would I lie about gaining weight? like yeah I don't look big, I actually still look pretty thin, not like I was but thin. and yeah I use to work out so my arms and legs have that real toned look. how I manage to maintain that, idk I didn't even try to. ppl have always put me down for looking the way I do, like an in shape woman is a bad thing or like it makes me look manly. I didn't let my fiance see my tears. I hate that they thought I lied about gaining weight and then laughed at me for looking "manly" I often wish I had never worked out bc pl often bring up my muscles like they're freaking huge when in reality I'm just toned. it makes me feel like less of a woman bc they all see it as a manly trait.

Good morning, don't pay them any attention. There opinion about shouldn't affect you. I didn't gain much either. My husband heard the nurses say " How the Hell did she have a 8 pound baby being that size" My husband said "Baby they are haters pay them No attention "

Report them!! Don't hold back your emotions. Don't forget ppl pay to be your size and give birth to an healthy baby. Sorry u experienced that btw I wish I was the one who heard them.

@smilingwithmyawesome4kids I'm trying to not let it bother me, it did then bc it caught me by surprise, I didn't expect l&d nurses to be so cruel to someone who literally just had a child. @paulie1gr8gal I think I'll at least call and let them know that some on did overhear just so another mom doesn't have to feel this way and maybe have the nurses show more compassion instead of criticism. I wish I had heard them too I def would've have a smart reply ready.

it's sad and I agree with @paulie1gr8gal to report them because it was offensive and outta there character. You could ask to speak to the the head charge nurse and report them .
