After a very scary labor, our MaKhai Anthony was born yesterday at 4:38pm. He weighs 8.4 pounds and is 19.25 inches long. After what seemed like a smooth induction, he became very stressed with every contraction once my water had been broken. After lots of panic and praying, the doctor gave me medicine to stop labor completely and she started an epidural to get my body and baby to relax. They did an amnio-transfusion where they put fluid back in so that he had some cushion and he responded well. Finally, my contractions picked back up on their own and in the end we still managed a vaginal delivery after 4 pushes. Our little warrior had the cord wrapped around his neck and gave us quite a scare, but God got us through it. 🙌👶🏽👑
