I gave my boyfriend the day to himself and now we are talking again and on good terms. I love him so much. I went to my state building and was told I'm not old enough to apply for food stamps/ebt, my mother has to because I live with her. I also called around to find out about section 8 and I am not eligible for it because I have no type source of income. Ugh I can't stand the state I live in. Delaware sucks ass!!!!!!

are there no other programs in place besides section 8? what about HUD or something like that?

@sawyersmomma, you have to have credit and some source of income I have neither of thoses things.

Your state is some thing else here where I live if you 18 and pregnant you can get food stamps and apply for a section 8 with out anh problems , why not try to apply for foodstamps after you give birth and see if that works out for you after all

@smileeey I spoke to my case worker my mom still has to do it which is shit honestly. I honestly think it's stupid everything about this state is stupid.

apply for WIC they will give you that. I had food stamp at age 18 cuz I live alone. it's difficult to get it if you live with ur parents.

I have WIC but it's not much. My family eats all my shit before I can so that why I tried to apply for food stamps @maygi0221

@xxrockeyy11_26_16, you have to 22 to apply for snaps if you're still living with your parents. just went through this about a week ago or two and it led to getting kicked out. but now I'm living with a friend and I got my benefits. and that section 8 is b.s. they didn't tell me anything like that when I applied just that there is a waiting list from 3-5yrs.

my friends know my situation. so they try to help as much as she can. but I totally understand where ur coming from because ever since my first I've been on my own trying to do things for her and now her sister. and NOW they're brother/sister on the way. Dont worry Dont depend on anyone be headstrong and you'll get through it I promise.

@ppb14pj16 thanks I don't really have friends tbh. After I gotten pregnant I started seeing people's true colors. I have one friend she lives in a different state though. It's just crazy I'm always doing for someone when they need the help but when I do nobody apparently knows me I'm a stranger. Thank you I'm trying by my best not to just cave in and cry. I don't depend on anyone everyone just depends on me.
