My latest purchase- a birthing ball.. so how long am I meant to sit on this thing for?

I would bounce on mine for over an hour a day for the last couple of weeks of pregnancy. bounce your bottom up and down and back to front. also move hips around in a figure of 8 shape X

@mother_of_humans, I'm glad I'm not the only one who struggles to get off the sofa! I have a huge corner sofa and feel like I have to literally roll off it. 😂 Think I'm going to end up using this more. XD xx

I swear the exercise ball helped my little one come early! I also used the ball during labour as baby was back to back and this helped her turn the right way X x

@mimibear, well I get my date to be induced in about 3 weeks (should be in about 4) but my midwife said she'd prefer if my daughter came on her own accord so hopefully the ball helps. 😂 @mother_of_humans don't even get me started on bed! I wake my OH every time I just turn over.. 😂 haha, that's brilliant! 😂😂 xx

That ball was my life saver, I bounced on it 5 times a day for an hour each time. I had a sweep then lived on that ball 24 hours later I had my little girl, I was 4 cm by the time I went to hospital & I'm pretty sure it was down to that ball. 1st time mum 🙂
