Does anyone else feel like there relationship lost its spark after having a baby? Just feel like my other half is bored of me 😭

@mlk252 Yes! I can rarely get anything done as it is! Maya is on the go all the time! she started crawling at 5 months (commando crawl) so couldnt put her on the floor to play while I did something in the same room...like sort out washing...cleaning etc..and she was proper crawling at 6 months....and was also pulling herself to stand! it was crazy! She has never quite been the baby to sit in a chair etc for more than about 20 mins....so have to get her out and put her on the floor again 😂😂😂 appreciate the help I get from my mum...but she does have her own life haha...so isn't with me everyday all day! Xxx
@winterbaby95, that's so true! It's very hard to keep on top of looking after a baby cleaning the house cooking and keeping the relationship up as well xx
@mlk252 Hehe...its funny how you only think about the nappy changing...waking up at night etc when pregnant:) No one tells you how it's going to effect your relationship with your partner overall! But it's just about working with the time you have :) Obviously making some time for each other :) even if it's just a 15 min chat/watching TV before bed xxx

That's our issue. By the time it gets to the evening when he wants to have some 'us time' I'm shattered & just wanna go to bed lol. So I try and make an effort. We both fall flat with the romance side of things sometimes lol.
@mlk252 Yeah hun....with being parents it's hard to find time to relax and connect with each other :) before my little girl came :) I had all the time in the world to relax and do stuff together as a couple :) because we don't live together and only see each other on the weekends....its really tough...especially as my daughter is awake at 6:30am :) and awake basically all day and then in bed between 7-8pm...but she also still wakes a few times :) I either fall asleep on the air bed (give my daughter my bed) while we are watching a movie or I am up and down feeding Maya and tend to fall asleep feeding her too xxxx I think the adjustment is tough! but you do get there! xxx
I'm glad it's not just us and it seems to be normal! Was getting so worried and upset about it! So hard because he works a lot and he's tired and moody when he gets home xx @sara-lou @winterbaby95 @clarebear83 @chesscalouise2
Yeh I think it's quite common. You both get caught up with parenthood & have to adjust to less time together. We started having a date night once a month. Going out for dinner or cinema/ drinks. I also got a few nice things to wear to spice up that side of things lol. You just have to remind each other your a couple now & then & not just parents!
Yes I found that with my little girl and while I was pregnant with my most recent!
@winterbaby95, wow that's amazing that she's crawling so early!! Im lucky that Maiah will sit and play while I do some things as long as she's in the same room as me but if I leave she screams the house down so that's hard! Xx
