Have any of you ladies that have had ur babies done dream feeding? Was out for lunch with one of my mummy friends and she swears by it! Just wondering if anyone else has done it and how they found it?

Not if baby has reflux and you need to burp them every 3 mins lol
I always dream feed I do it now with lo as she is sleepy from her jaundice. It's just putting baby to the breast while asleep, they normally just latch on still mostly asleep and feed and u put them back down without having to have them fully awake. It depends on the baby I guess too
I personally think if their going to sleep during the night then they will!! Plus it will take a while to get into a routine too!! @karenb1601
it doesnt work for us. i tried dream feeding my lb at around 11 and hed still be up at 6. if he gets sleepy during a feed ill sometimes swap his dummy for his bottle so he will finish his feed but otherwise i dont see the point x
I must admit it sounds good if it works I suppose, but I'd be worried about them not burping properly and stuff if they were still sleeping @sara-lou ! I think I'll stick with what I know when this wee ones are here
I tried it once or twice & neither of my boys would feed so didn't see the point. I just let them sleep & fed them when they woke for a feed. I agree if someone woke me I'd wanna slap them haha But I guess it works for some.
See I didn't understand it either as my daughter fed every 4 hours, I knew every night she would wake at the same time for her feeds and bum changes so didn't get why she was doing this c
@littleelf85 Yeah...I dont believe in disturbing bubs sleep either (only time I have is when she has done a poo then fallen asleep. not going to leave her in poop while she is sleeping!) oh and at her 6-8 week check...she fell asleep just before we were called in. .had to get her undressed to get her weighed etc...she was not happy at all! xxx

I did this with my eldest two and it didn't work that well but it did work to an extent
It's when u disturb their sleep for example my friend Emma puts her baby down the same time as her older son but will disturb his sleep around 11 so she'll change his bum then feed him 3/5oz then he sleeps all through the night, as he wasn't a good sleeper before she started this now he can sleep from 11-8 x @sinlou93

@gillz_90, i agree. i tried it for a week or 2 but when it didnt make a difference i stopped and just increased his bedtime feed a bit x
