anyone on here take adderall XR? If so how do you force yourself to eat because I have ZERO appetite…

I don't take Adderall but my anxiety medicine does the same thing to me; I usually just have to force myself to eat a small snack a couple times a day. Like maybe some almonds or string cheese; something relatively healthy but also high enough in carbs/fats that it's filling.

Personally I put myself on a schedule, and incorporated my snack times into it so I eat at the same times everyday: 11 and 4.

That's a smart thing to do. Like I should really eat before I take it but I literally take it at like 6am and I am just generally not a breakfast person, especially that early. Thanks girl, appreciate the feedback @scurlock.mommy

No problem! I'm not a big breakfast person either so I don't blame you lol. I have to take mine 3 times a day and I'm supposed to eat each time I take it, but personally I don't eat much anyway so that was a no-go for me. My body has gotten used to eating at those times though, so if I accidentally skip then I get hungry. The body loves routine!

I'm just being nosy now but what anti anxiety are you on? I'm on klonopin & Xanax but neither of them do that sort of thing to me. I know a friend of mine on neurontin has the same problem you do though @scurlock.mommy

I'm on Buspar and Abilify! I specifically asked for ones that don't make me gain weight and the ones that don't tend to make you lose your appetite lol.

Hahahah nice. I was on buspar before what I'm on now, it didn't help and gave me really really weird side effects. Like I felt like my body was being zapped every few mins. Hard to describe but no more of that for me. I hope it's working for you! @scurlock.mommy

It's alright! it makes me more manic than anything. if I'm not doing something I'm just pacing around the house. it gives me a TON of nervous energy. And then my other medicine mellows me out and so my body doesn't know what to do 😂😂

That makes sense! Klonopin did that to me for a while. Like I wasn't used to that sense of calm so it actually made me more anxious for the first couple weeks 😂😂 @scurlock.mommy
