Anyone have tips for how to get your baby to sleep in their crib? My son refuses to sleep unless he's right next to me. Hes going to be a month old soon and I want to start weaning him off of co-sleeping with me since he can now regulate his temperature better. (He had troubles since he was early and super small) But he doesnt sleep for longer than 20 minutes if I put him in the crib after hes asleep and he wont fall asleep unless hes being held or hes laying cuddled up to me. Im looking at picking up a couple of shifts at a new job soon so im gonna need some sleep and since I dont sleep super well while co-sleeping. So any tips would be appreciated. And yes, ive tried swaddling him. It doesnt work. TIA

what worked for me is putting my son in the crib everday for a nap so he got used to the crib i did that for about a week and didnt co sleep for that entire week. once he was used to the crib i started putting him in at night and sleeping on the floor in the nursery. its hard because its a new place for them and youre not right next to them. you could also try sleeping on a crib sheet then putting it in his crib it will have your sent on it and it will be comforting to him

We had to tuck a really soft fluffy blanket in her bed, because she would sleep in our bed just fine but I think her bed just was too hard and not comfortable. So I tucked it in so she couldn't suffocate herself, now she's been sleeping in her bed ever since.
