just out of curiosity is it ok to add blankets to a pack and play and cover them with a sheet to help a baby sleep?

Oh I didn't realize you didn't have a mattress for it. yeah they make mattresses for pack n plays. also sleep sacks are amazing too
You can get a fleece sleep sack. Goes on over their jammies. We have a Halo one. Then there's no need for blankets.

@kayla767, looks good. have you tried fleece sleeper sacks before? no blanket needed. goves you a piece of mind too
my son always slept with a blanket and on his stomach. he was always fine.
jeez! get into your bed. if you add one blanket under the sheet, it should be fine. i wish you could elevate the mattress in pack n play like it is in rock n play
i didnt make it too soft. but is it ok? i dont want to feel like a bad mother. i am a new mom and he has been sleeping in his rocking sleeper since a week after he was born and he is getting big only 7 weeks old and i really need him out of his rocking sleeper so i can start sleeping in my bed again i have been sleeping in my living room on the couch since he was a week old. @concrete
under the sheet? as long as you do not make it so soft that the baby can smother himself.
