yes,even if your child is a boy, the moist environment of a wet diaper can easily cause a yeast infection – especially if there's already an untreated diaper rash. Babies taking antibiotics and breastfed babies whose mothers are on antibiotics are also more susceptible to yeast infections.

@domena84, I'm not breast feeding and this came out of no where :/ didn't have a diaper rash before I change his diaper even if a little wet...he also has had the same diapers since he was born I never changed them because I was to worried he would react to different diapers...

@mrsreneau, just weird cuz I looked it up and it says it usually comes from a preexisting diaper rash and he didn't have on the blisters came out of no where! And we haven't done anything different with him at all...so I know it's not an allergic reaction

That's not always true. Yeast infections can manifest somewhat suddenly and without a diaper rash previously. It's just the moistness within the diaper. That's why they tell women to change out of a wet swimsuit as soon as possible to avoid yeast infections. It's not exclusively to females though, especially babies. It's not a huge deal. I'd call the doctor to confirm, and they will prescribe you a medicated ointment most likely. They also usually suggest letting them "air out" for a while everyday while it's going on, but that's a little hard when it's a boy because pee will go everywhere lol

@mrsreneau, this is why I need to stay off the internet! 😂😂 and right? I let him lay on a towel naked today and he kept rolling everywhere and of course he can crawl too so staying the the towel was a no go...and then he decided to had to poop! Atleast I thought I was doing the right thing for him lol
