My girl was born at 41 weeks 6 days and she was 6lb 22.5 inches. She was wearing newborn size . I guess it depends how big is your baby no matter when you have it

my son was born at 41 weeks 7 lbs 11 ozs and wore newborn for about two weeks

my daughter was only 2 days past my due date and she was 8lbs 5oz and we lived a good 2 hours from the hospital and my bf at the time had to go all the way home to get 3-6 month clothes bc all I packed was premie and new born. Never expected her to be that big lol.

I had my second son at 42+3 he was almost 10 lbs and we skipped newborn sizes and he was only measuring 8lbs on the ultrasound.
