My mothers friend has suggested that I ring the day assessment unit today as my midwife is absolutely useless because whenever I try to voice my concerns to my midwife she doesn't really pay attention and I'm worried that my labour could end up in a section as when I was 28 weeks the baby was measuring 32 weeks and when I went when I was 31 weeks he was measuring almost 35, she just shrugs her shoulders at me when surely when he's measuring 4 weeks ahead she should send me for a scan to check because I really don't want a c section if it can be avoided & I just want to be able to see what someone can do for me, I can't ask for another midwife because she's the only one in my surgery 😩.. will I be wasting people's time ringing up to ask?? X

@taralou, @tillie thanks both, she really is useless my friend has her aswell and even agrees at how shocking it is, she's terrible she never answers her phone either and if she does she's snappy, I will ring the hospital then because I'm so scared of what labour is going to be like now as she never answers my questions properly & the thing is my friend had her and she was measuring big but the midwife didn't send her for scans & she went 16 days over and her baby was 10lb 7 and had to have a emergency c section! Xx

I would call and make yourself an appointment with someone at the hosp, I did this and had so much more support through my pregnancy, I knew from day 1 that I wasn't going full term and had instinct my baby would end up In special care... I was right no one believed me untill I made the appointment and was beat thing I did, we were able to monitor baby more and when I was unwell I had immediate access to the ward xx
